Manila Airbnb Review
I had done a little bit of debating on where I should stay in Manila. It's was my first stop on this world tour of mine. I figured the first few days would probably be mostly resting and getting adjusting to the 13 hour time difference, so I figured a nice quiet room would be best.
So I logged onto Airbnb and found 'HOMEY AND COZY | 1BR IN MAKATI (10).' It had good reviews, had everything I needed, and was close to things to see and do.
My stay overall was decent. I was a little disappointed though because the pictures weren't exactly what was shown on the website. The couple that own the building have several rooms they rent out. So while most of the rooms pretty much have the same layout and are pretty much identical, the paint color was a little gloomy and there were no windows. But for $20/night, I wasn't going to let that get me down.
The room itself had a killer AC unit that had me shivering at times. But I welcomed that since it was so hot and humid outside.
They also provided breakfast rolls each morning which was a nice touch.
Would I stay here again? Maybe if I was in a pinch, but I might spent a little bit more to stay somewhere else.
